I love corn dogs and pigs in a blanket, so I figure, let make them healthier (I say healthier because I’m not sure I’m ever going to find a HEALTHY pig in a blanket!!)
Here’s how:
Put 1 and 3/4 cups whole wheat flour in a bowl, mix in 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup soft (I mean, like very soft) butter, 6 ounces yogurt. Mix together.
Lay dough on counter (I used a cutting board to make cutting them easy.) Roll out into a squarish shape and cut into squares. (I used a pizza cutter to make it super simple.)
Take hot dogs and cut them in half. This recipe used 6 hot dogs, but it might be more or less depending on if you buy “bun length” or regular hot dogs. Roll each half hot dog into the dough and place, seam side down on oiled cookie sheet.
Bake them at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
